This is amazing to see after Twilight Time was always saying studios will never release these movies again and only selling 3,000 is the way to turn a profit. I guess the home video market is better than it was a few years ago? This is why I stopped supporting Twilight Time and their over priced releases

Then again it says Universal and well, Universal distributes for Sony in the UK, so this could be something else. I am really hoping its a Choice Collection disc. |

It's good they are including the extras that were on the Twilight Time blu-ray but were missing from the first Sony blu-ray (the Nora Ephron audio commentary and theatrical trailer). |

New for this anniversary edition are the deleted scenes. For those who feel cheated by Twiight Time's release, that disc has an exclusive isolated score that is not on this disc.

Sony to Twilight Time: "Screw you"
I didn't want it myself but I always thought it was weird that something so well known and talked about only got a limited edition release. Also nice that it's not a BD-R because that crap needs to be stopped. |

On the one hand, I want to support special editions. On the other, it's BS that this isn't getting a 4k. I don't feel like spending the upgrade money on it.

The official Blu-ray logo is on the packaging, which means this is pressed. BD-R releases can’t display it, so they usually just say “Blu-ray Disc” at the top.

I'm leaning more toward the pressed route given the current cover art (not sure where Amazon retrieved it from) and the lower price point ($24.99 vice $26.99). However, this would be the first pressed MOD Blu-ray disc from Sony through the Allied Vaughan Media On Demand program to my knowledge.

As I understand it, remastering in 4k is done for a more source accurate 1080p release since each pixel is drawing information from four different pixels instead of one. Many films are shot at a higher resolution than their intended exhibition for the same reason.

Releasing a 1080p disc from a 4k master is no different from a DVD being released from a 1080p master back in the day.
