There's no way Universal was going to offer their biggest film of the year for less than £25 on 4K and no less than £30 for the steelbook. The fact they're not charging £40 for the steelbook is a blessing.

Compared to Zavvi prices, £30 for a 4K/3D/Blu-Ray steelbook is on the cheap side.

Sounds like they should've called it The Last Dino lol

Just got back and THIS WILL BE MINE! Loved it! Felt a little bit like the middle of a trilogy where it's more or less setting up a new direction but it finally did something more with the franchise and I'm eager for a sequel!

I just hope the black level isn't raised on the UHD presentation. So many shadows used to great effect.

I thought this was absolutely fantastic. As Vangeli said I loved how much they progressed the story with this movie. I can not wait for the next installment.

Liked the film, but it had a bit too many clichés and dumb decisions. I know some say it is a staple to the franchise, I say it holds this film back. And there is one reveal at the end that is a bit too much for my taste. The action scenes, and even some of the talking scenes, do shine through the rough patches though! Overall, I really enjoyed the film, from acting, characters, music and cinematography. It just needed some kinks in the script worked out. Here’s hoping for an epic conclusion in 2021 and an epic Blu/4K release!

This film is a perfect example of what a good director can do with a bad script. The fact that this movie is even semi-decent is pretty amazing. The script is really, really bad.

But I actually enjoyed a bit of it. There’s a chunk in the middle that is really uninteresting and boring but the first and third acts are entertaining enough. Some well directed action sequences. And a cool horror vibe towards the end that I really dug.

Can’t say I’d give this a positive rating, but I’ll be adding it to my collection. The visuals and directing were the highlight of the film for me. So I’ll be looking forward to this UHD.

I see the covers used by Amazon and by Best Buy for the regular release are different. I'm leaning against the Best Buy version being the correct one.

Amazon regular release

Best Buy regular release

Best Buy exclusive steelbook

Best Buy exclusive 5-Movie Collection steelbook

Target exclusive. Strange that it on the picture says DVD on the second disc which is supposed to be blu-ray.

The steelbook version seems kinda strange looking, no color and looks brown like, but I'll will pre-order just to make sure. Can't wait to see this tomorrow. Wish I hadn't not got the 4 disc steelbook last month I would have gotten this one instead.

I usually don't pass on steelbooks, but Fallen Kingdom's looks so bland. I missed out on the recent collection, so I might get that steelbook with the 5 movies unless they do single releases later on. Either that or the amaray cause I really like Amazon's artwork so hopefully that's what we end up with.

There's an HMV exclusive 4K + 3D Steelbook that matches the logo-on-black individual 4K Steelbooks released a month or so ago but they're all even more bland than this one.

I like that Jurassic World Collection Steelbook but it's five discs so they're stacked. Laaaaaame.

The Italian non-4K Steelbooks are of course the best.
