I've been wanting to see these old universal horror movies & Creature has been at the top of my list. I'll be picking this up as a blind buy.

I'm going to boycott this because it doesn't come with a copy of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein!

I think I will stick with my steelbook of Creature From The Black Lagoon.

Revenge and Walks Among Us aren't exactly the best Universal monster movies to be made.

It just wouldn't be a Universal horror set without it.

I was disappointed they didn't include a copy in the Chucky set.

Yes! My favorite of the monsters.

Have all these legacy sets been 4k scans? If so, you think universal will put out a 4k set of all these legacy sets? I’ve been holding off on these until they were all released in hopes of an all encompassing set. If they do that in 4k, even better.

Wish they'd include digital copies with these sets.

It'll come. There will be a mother of all repackaged set in the future + Digital HD. You can't have them all in one shot on a franchise that's a cash cow for Universal

Great news, of course, for this and The Invisible Man set, and we finally get all the big Universal monster franchises out there on Blu. Hopefully, next year or sooner, Universal will then start delving into their other horror-monster outings like the ones in their Lugosi and Karloff DVD collections, as well as their Sci-Fi and Universal Horror collections, and others. Good times!

I agree.
The upcoming Blu-ray Legacy sets of The Invisible Man series & The Creature trilogy is great news.
Lots of wonderful Universal horror-monster outings that I want restored and on Blu-ray (and especially the Karloff & Lugosi films plus The Mad Ghoul, Man Made Monster, etc) --
And even a Captive Wild Woman trilogy set would be nice.

Fantastic news. The other monster sets were so well done. This will make a great addition to the collection.

Mr. Furmanek, can and would you confirm the aspect ratios on Revenge of the Creature and Creature Walks Among Us on this set? I've read varying aspect ratios over the years...

Excellent news! My favorite of the trilogy, believe it or not, is THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US. It will be great to have #3 in its proper "widescreen" ratio. (It WILL be widescreen, right?).

I would assume the first movie will simply be a straight re-issue of the original 2D/3D Blu-ray but there's some confusion if it too is a new 4K scan. Kind of weird the 2 honestly inferior sequels have higher res, newer scans.
