Something similar happened with the repackaged A Nightmare on Elm Street boxset of the orignal franchise that was released along side the 2010 remake. The cover art is a picture of Jackie Earle Haley's Freddy instead of Robert Englund's.

The original DTS Predator DVD had pretty much perfect cover art. Why try and re-invent the wheel?

All we know so far is that the UHD has a new transfer.

There's no confirmation yet on whether the BD does or not.

I know Arnold isn't as popular as he was, but seems like Fox are trying to erase his presence. I want him on the cover the way it always was. Who are these millennial muppets that design such awful sleeves? Probably some spotty little puke who wasn't even born in 1987!

Another chance for Fox to get it right... Hmmmm.. Recent 4k classics such as Die Hard have only had half a job done so far.
Unlike most people, i'm most looking forward to some upgraded audio with a bit more weight behind it.
If i was a betting man, i'd say it will be a re worked Ultimate Hunter edition with some of the worst bits cleaned up and probably the same old tinny audio mix.
I really, really, really hope i'm wrong.
Just counting back on my fingers here... In my time i've bought 3 VHS versions, four different DVD editions, and three Blu-Ray editions so far. Will this be the last!? Lol.

I am sure it will have the same old DTS-HD MA track but assuming they use the same 4K master that is available on AppleTV then it is far from the UHE with lots of lovely grain.

Fair enough. I always thought of Millennials as 90s born. But it's been suggested that this generation dates as early as 1982! I was born in 1979, so a late Gen-Xer.

I was born January of '82, so what does that make me??

I guess I think of myself as Gen-X. And yeah, I remember Arnold being the biggest movie-star in the world. I saw the Sixth Day AND End of Days in theaters, no-questions-asked, just because he was in them. Man, those are terrible movies
