First Class was shot to film and I think they forced grain a little to give it a "vintage 60's" look, but it doesn't look bad.

First Class looks pretty bad tho. There are several flashback scenes in Apocalypse and I assume DNR was used but those scenes from First Class just look better.

So the same scenes in Apocalypse with DNR added look better than in First Class?

I see this X-men UHD 3-pack for $29.99 at my Walmart and am like hmmmm. But when you look at the 4k review scores on here, the first two films (First Class and Days of Future Past) are listed at basically no improvement to very mediocre.

DOFP is a gorgeous 4K and fantastic use of HDR, not sure why the reviews would say otherwise

I had the Walmart 3 pack and it only cost me $20. I don't have it anymore and now only have X-Men: Apocalypse. I would love to get X-Men: Days of Future Past again. I thought the 4K presentation was pretty solid on my old rinky-dink 42' set. I haven't seen it on my 65" set though. I bet it would look stunning on there. The only thing keeping me from buying it (aside from money) is the movie itself. As much as I like it I find it very hard to get into or want to watch. I don't know why though, as it is the best X-Men movie since (for me) X2: X-Men United. I think maybe it's because I just don't think there will ever be as good as an X-Men team as the ones from the original movies. Those need to come out to 4K and fast.
