It's a new first-run release, so it should be Dolby Vision...?

Sony isn't that consistent yet on using Dolby Vision, like seen on Peter Rabbit.

Had to go to the UK via Amazon.co.uk to get Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle 3D.

I’m sure this is every parent’s most anticipated 4K release to buy their kids.

That, plus there have been three different studios releasing them and none were Sony. When DreamWorks went from Paramount to Fox, did they get all their past stuff, or just new ones? Now that they're under Universal, I'd suspect they'll do either before theatrical or home video for the third movie. That's how Universal usually works, and usually with a movie cash promo if it's before theatrical releases.

I am too, but since they're "kids" movies they might not feel the need to rush them out alongside the new one. Maybe eventually though.

Italy is getting a 3D Blu-ray release.

I'm hoping for an UHD boxset with all three or at least separate UHD releases for the previous movies.

My guess is that, assuming Sony does actually release a 3D disc, you'll be able to but it from multiple countries, but here is the Italian 3D pre-order:

Internationally, this is known as Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation, so perhaps Sony will only issue it on 3D internationally where it has that title, sort of like what Disney has done with a couple recent films.

So strange only Italy is getting a 3D Blu-ray release in Europe. I do hope it's true though because only the 2D Blu-ray and UHD are up for pre-order in my country. so far no 3D for the UK, France or Germany either it seems.

I take it the first two won't be released on UHD since we probably would have heard by now, with the third one coming in a couple of weeks.

Oh well, both are 5 Euros each in 4K/DV on iTunes. Might as well get those then, as this is why I bought that damn ATV4K for in the first place. No physical 4K release? Then the streaming version it is. Will probably import either the UK or US UHD along with the Italian 3D Blu-ray, and my Transylvania 3D/4K collection is complete.

Yeah, it's weird Sony isn't putting out either HT or Goosebumps to capitalize on their sequels this year.

They did remaster and release the first 2 films and Goosebumps for 4K UHD streaming.

I hope this isn't part of a trend.

Price down to 22.96 (wal-mart and amazon). Is this the expected release day price?

Edit: back up to 27.96. Shoot.

Just noticed that Summer Vacation was dropped from the home video release. Not on the cover or at the beginning of the movie now.

Shame on Sony for giving us the first 2 in 3D and letting us all down for this one, the people who have been faithful with Sony's 3D releases since blu-ray 3D began. At least for the consumer, release the third one in 3D so we can complete the set, and maybe have an all day viewing of the 3 movies in 3D, but NO, here's the studio with the largest investment in blu-ray, who pushed hard for 3D blu-ray, just skipping the third one. I find this appalling.

I think this was one of the biggest "up your a**" from the electronics manufacturers. 3D blu-rays are still coming out monthly including STAR WARS movies and other Marvel films.. People have spent alot of money for their 3D blu-ray collections and every single TV manufacturer has, in my opinion, omitted 3D from every set in their line-up, so those people, and I know there are many, with over 400 3D blu-rays cannot buy a new television, except for projectors, or older model TV's, and play a large part of our collections. This is one of the biggest "scr** you" from the TV manufacturers, I think it's just awful, but one has to say considering how they do business, that it isn't surprising. At least keep 3D on one or two new models. Just burns my a**.
