Looks ok enough but nice to see Spawn/Goliath/Childs in this one.

Like most sequels nowadays probably about 10/15 years too late & I really dig the original but don’t think it’s worth paying Shout’s price.

Put it on price track and jump when it goes on sale, the movie has never been close to this good looking on any home format (I know, I've had or seen them all) and the audio sounds awesome too. Can't really say the extras are mind-blowing, but they are decent. Very solid release from Shout.

I really dig the commentary on the Blu-Ray but yeah the other extras aren't incredible. But I love this movie so much. I'm too excited for this sequel I hope I'm not let down.

Already got this one on preorder. Was initially skeptical, but since the same creative team is involved, I'm fairly certain it will be enjoyable. Hopefully they stayed with practical effects as opposed to going all CGI.

I'm in too...hard to tell from the trailer but looks like they didn't just phone it in. Should be fun.

Yea I’ve heard it’s a solid release from Shout so I’ll wait. I’ve got lots of shout titles preordered already.

Beyond that though, I LOVE horror anthologies and so that alone is reason to celebrate and for me to pick this up. Hopefully it settles at $14.99 (or less) on release so it's an easy, cheap, no brainer of a purchase.
I loved the original growing up since i was 13 seeing it in theaters and been one of my favorite horror anthologies and was glad it got a Scream Factory release.

This does have the original director/writer involved.

Currently only $12.86 on wal-mart.com. At that price I'm willing to take a gamble if I can find it in store this Tuesday.

Lol, that's funny I haven't seen this movie in d-d-decades Surprised you mention it, Smh.. I still have the LD. Would love this movie and:

CB4,
Tripping,
Caught Up,
New Jersey Drive,
and many others I can't think of just yet.

Yes, it has one. The movie, however, is pretty weak. I am a big fan of the original, but this one doesn't come close in quality. The stories are more silly than scary, and the cast from the original is sorely missed. My copy arrived from Best Buy yesterday, and I watched it today (perfect day for it since it rained all day), but I didn't enjoy it at all.

It's only $11.97 at Bull Moose.

Really tempting - but I don't want to regret wasting $11.97.

Got mine w/slip as well. I didn't think it was terrible but definitely didn't come close to the first one in terms of quality. I HATED the first story, but enjoyed the other three to varying degrees (the second involving a forced seance was probably my favorite, sort of played like a Tales from the Crypt episode.) The wraparound segment with Keith David pales in comparison to the original - Keith David seems to be enjoying itself, but it looks very cheaply made (like a Lifetime movie) and you see the ending section coming a mile away.)

There was a decent amount of callbacks to the original (
[Show spoiler]one of the dolls from the original makes a cameo in the first story, Keith David does a riff of Clarence Williams III's "the s___," references, etc.)
It's not a bad movie per se but it's just an uneven anthology as opposed to the original which I thought was great and story wise doesn't really have a week link.
