I'll definitely order this if region free, it's my favorite yu gi oh movie. I never got into the later series, but I loved duel monsters. Is it a "great" anime series? No. But is it very entertaining? Yes, besides some of the filler arcs (notably Grand Prix...Doma might be filler but at least had bad ass cards)

Wonder why this hasn't gotten a U.S. Blu-ray release? Or even a DVD re-release considering it has been out of print for a decade. It's still cheap and easily available, but a re-release would never hurt.

Well Warner probably no longer cares about it even if it’s still on the Warner Brothers website, but they could in theory always go to Viz and have them do it since Warner Distributes Viz titles. Fathom Events did release it in theaters again last year, so it’s not like its dead in America. But if you go by Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes this is considered almost as bad as the Emoji Movie which is totally not true and why I don’t read reviews anymore because you can’t compare something like this to the Emoji Movie since this movie is a 100 times better. They really shouldn’t even be both in the same sentence.

I did always find it strange that this movie was released in America months before Japan.

Warner Bros. doesn't distribute it anymore. 4K Media does.

Well Warner Distributes for Viz, 4Kids(now 4K Media) Distributes Yu-Gi-Oh!. Like Pokémon is with The Pokémon Company with Viz releasing the DVDs and Blu-rays and Warner Distributes all Viz titles.

Yeah I doubt Viz would touch this. Viz can barely handle releasing their own titles, let alone something like the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie which is Walmart bargain bin material.

None of Manga UK's releases are region free. This is Region B locked.

Curious as to why this didn't get a U.S. Blu-ray release. It received a limited theatrical showing, physical seemed like a no-brainer.

Not to mention it's also on Hulu.

Cinedigm is weird with releases. They stopped Beyblade DVDs after the first seaosn in 2014 and came back with only Metal Force onward, which is why Discotek scooped up the classic season rights.

Looks like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is out of print now too. Season 1 is sticking around but 2 is out of print and going for scalper prices. Season 3 looks to be in low stock too.

What's the master on Hulu like, in terms of image quality and what logos appear at the start and end?
