i just got my PE BD in and i didnt realize that it didnt have the special feautures. im pissed. blu ray brags about their quality and how big their disks are yet cant but the special featurs on it. thats unfair

Should have read the thread.... I had both copies in early Janurary, but decided to send the bonus feature copy back due to this thread's recommendations!

It's not Blu-ray's fault. You need to complain to the studios about extras.

You can import it and get the disc that the DVD version has, if you have region free player of course.

I just can't understand why BBC cut off extras from all high-def versions, either blu-ray or hd-dvd.

I feel to blame hd-dvd, because BBC want to create equal versions for blu-ray and hd-dvd. and if you want extras on hd-dvd, you need an extra disc, which means extra cost.

Maybe for double dipping purposes. You know, since HDM isn't so big yet so they're waiting until there is complete mass adoption then when the new people start buying HDM, they'll release the new one with extras that way us early adopters will have to double dip.

I always was just thinking about blaming HD-DVD also. They're the under-acheivers of High Def media.
