1. The Land Before Time
2. Thumbelina 3. An American Tail 4. All Dogs Go to Heaven 5. The Secret of NIMH 6. Anastasia 7. Rock-a-Doodle 8. Titan A.E. 9. A Troll in Central Park 10. Bartok the Magnificent 11. The Pebble and the Penguin The Land Before Time is definitely his best, imo. The things I love about Thumbelina outweigh the bad, which is why I rank it higher than An American Tail and NIMH even though I know they're objectively superior to it. I love all of the top 4, tbh (and those are the ones I voted for). NIMH is a very cold film to me, which makes it a hard watch even though it's good. I enjoy Anastasia's soundtrack, but I find the two leads somewhat irritating (not helped by Meg Ryan's annoying voice) and the rotoscoped animation holds it back, too. Still, the villain is easily the worst part of that film. There are things I like about Rock-a-Doodle and Titan A.E. (the villain in the former, some of the plot / characters in latter), but overall those films are both a mess. A Troll in Central Park and The Pebble and the Penguin are practically unwatchable they're so saccharine. Bartok is one of the better parts of Anastasia to focus a sequel around, but still... Much lower quality to that film than the rest, which means it automatically ends near the bottom. |
