Typical FAILimation. The back cover is wrong.

I can confirm it will have 2 audio tracks: Japanese Dolby TrueHD 5.1 24-Bit and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 24-Bit.

Unless I was told wrong information and FUNi are stupid enough to not include a Japanese 5.1 mix, I should be right.

Hopefully their release of the movie isn't as bad as theirs of the series (why did they remove all the grain, smear it, then add tons of artificial grain back?).

I was gonna say...how hard is it to get two lossless 5.1 audio tracks right on this movie, especially as Sony got them right on almost every DVD worldwide (outside of Japan, obviously)?

It's not a Steelbook, apparently. It's called a "MetalPack" or something. People complain the fact it isn't technically a steel, so it's in another thread. I don't care honestly. It's like a Steelbook- that's all I need to know.

So this isn't an upgrade/remastering (or something) from the last time they put this movie out? Just a steelbook (sorta)? Oh good, I don't have to buy it.

We don't know for sure but they might do something like get the Japanese better surround audio BGM? It's Funimation this time around, after all, not I think Sony who handled it last time.

The problem I have with this release is the utterly horrendous logo job they've done for this release. Whoop-de-doo you got "Knocking on Heaven's Door" back on the cover, and you annihilated the original logo for this Digital Art and Design freshman intern job in the process. Geh.

Getting closer: down to $26.99 on Amazon and Best Buy now. If the initial sales aren't stellar, then maybe it'll hit $20 or less by Christmas.
