Not really. Some shows, sure, but a lot goes like this:

*Mode 1:

Scripts are finished withing days of filming, and then they shoot them, they go to post-production, and are send to the Network, but everything is finished before airing. [most Netflix shows, Riverdale Season 1].

*Mode 2:

The show is accepted. and they start writing. Episodes are finished couple days before shooting, and then they film them, send them to post-production, but the show will air soon. They film up to 6 episodes prior to airing, and they keep going. They see how people react to them, and they keep shooting as it airs, with some hiatus during the "first half". They modify some idead, some plots are dropped based on reception. They remove them from the prior episodes before airing and by the time the final episode airs, the filming stopped up to 3 months before. [Flash, Supergirl, Riverdale seasons 2 and now 3, Pretty Little Liars].


Obviously, this can be different, but it's mostly like that.

Either way, it's still too recent for a movie set to come out that year to discuss events of the season that airs the same year. They'd need to know the TV details years in advance when not even the TV show itself knows.

Marvel and Disney have not officially confirmed any of the upcoming Disney+ Marvel Studios shows with the exception of Loki, but we know there’s a Bucky & Falcon one coming as well as one with Wanda and Vision. One of those apparently has a title now.

Buried in an article on Deadline today about female-led superhero movies is a mention of the upcoming Disney+ series, which they claim is titled Vision and The Scarlet Witch.

If this is true, it would mark the first time that Wanda has actually been referred to as The Scarlet Witch in the MCU, as up to this point it’s just been Wanda. The title “Vision and The Scarlet Witch” was also used for a Marvel comics limited series.

Now that would be fun. I can imagine them getting into an unspoken competition during the movie trying to outdo each other during their adventure

The Vision and Scarlet Witch, one of the first series that Marvel Studios will be making for Disney’s streaming service Disney+, has landed a writer and showrunner.

Jac Schaeffer, one of the scribes behind Marvel’s upcoming Captain Marvel movie, has been tapped to run point on the series that will focus on the two characters that are integral members of the Avengers. She will pen the pilot and executive produce, say sources.

Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to star in the series, reprising the roles they originated on the big screen.

Marvel, which likes to operate its development under a shield of secrecy, is known to be working on several series that will debut on Disney+. Other known series will focus on Loki, the god of mischief played by Tom Hiddleston, and a team-up of Falcon and Winter Soldier, the heroes played by Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, respectively. Malcolm Spellman (Empire) has been hired to write the latter effort.

Vision and Scarlet Witch are some of Marvel Comics’ most enduring characters, with a (sometime) tender love story binding the two through many decades. Vision is a synthezoid who was created by Ulton, one of the Avengers’ greatest enemies, and is a being who longs for human understanding. Scarlet Witch, whose alter ego is Wanda Maximoff, has various sorcery abilities. The pair have headlined several comics miniseries with their relationship featuring several twisty turns: The two were married and had two kids, which in a later storyline were later revealed to be figments of her imagination. Vision also later created his own android family.

For Schaeffer, the deal to run Vision and Scarlet Witch strengthens her ties to Marvel. In addition to working on Captain Marvel, she also penned the screenplay for Black Widow, Marvel’s movie project centering on the Avengers character played by Scarlett Johansson, which is due to shoot later this year. She also co-wrote the Disney short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.

I still hope Scarlet Witch Will be in MCU. She actually deserve her own movie. Only sticking her in a tv show not many Will be able to see is doing her very dirty.

They could probably very easily PG-13 Daredevil and the other Marvel shows.

I had these thoughts about characters having a show or a solo movie and overall came up with the outcome that a show on the streaming service actually carries more weight than a movie. As long as they keep the production as close to a movie, having 10 45min episodes creates more content than a single 2hr film.

Nah, they never said it was set in the 1950s... but the aesthetic, the music and the look is inspired by the 1950s.
