Yes, it was renewed last year, before the strike happened and production was supposed to begin after the season finale, but it was delayed due to the strike and is now going on.

Also glad that like Vice Principals, Danny McBride is ending this on his own terms. Not being cancelled or dragged out.

Hadn’t realised this was back, and not sure if I’d actually seen any of the trailers, but watched eps 1 and 2. The first episode was definitely something different, and I was crying with laughter after the first few minutes of the second episode thanks to Uncle Baby Billy.

It’s probably just me, but he’s one of the funniest characters I’ve seen on TV!

Watched the last episode today, overall another funny season. Some of the humour is occasionally a tad crude for my tastes, but the likes of Uncle Baby Billy and Teenjus, the Top Christ Following Man awards, the ridiculous Cape and Pistol Society and Dr. Watson more than makes up for any shortcomings.

Uncle Baby Billy is the best tv character for a very long time. Walton Goggins absolutely nails it.

Thought this was a great ending to an awesome show, if maybe a bit too much Stifler, but you knew it was going to go out with something ridiculous and crazy. I think in some ways this might be McBride's best show, although that still might be Eastbound and Down. Vice Principals was pretty great too.

I guess I would say Vice Principals is a bit mean spirited, but in a very funny way.

Eastbound and Down was probably the craziest one, bordering on almost cartoon levels of insane hilarity.

The Righteous Gemstones is pretty over the top too, but probably had the most heart out of them all.

Sad it's over, but really enjoyed the ride.

Good ending to a great show!

There aren’t many comedies I like out there anymore (TV or movies), and I was loving this show! I’ll miss it for sure.

I feel like each show got better: EB < VP < RG

Hopefully the team has at least one more show up their sleeve!

As much as I love the Baby Billy character, I think he’s better in little spurts here and there. Not sure if they could keep that energy and amount of laughs up for entire episodes. I guess they could make it work by focusing on other characters as well like they did with RG.

I doubt we will see a spinoff though.

Like you said though, who knows? I would love to see at least one more show produced by this team. It’s hard to find a good comedy nowadays.
