Yeah, I'm torn. I love these characters, but I hope they don't keep making them just to keep making them. I can't imagine where they'd go with the series after Creed II.

I'm sure a lot of people felt the same way after Rocky II when he actually beat Apollo to become the champ. Imagine a world where Rocky IV doesn't exist. Very sad.

Completely unpopular opinion, but I think Rocky IV is by *FAR* the worst of the series. Yes, I liked Rocky V more. By a wide margin actually.

A Star is Born just came out on digital on 1/15 and the UHD and Blu-ray aren't out til 2/19.

Green Book comes out on digital on 1/29 and the UHD and Blu-ray will be released on 3/5.

Fantastic Beasts 2 comes out on digital on 2/15 and the UHD and Blu-ray will be released on 3/12.

This is becoming the norm with a lot of high profile titles.

Jordan (“Black Panther,” “Creed”) and Sylvester Stallone (the “Rocky” films, the “Rambo” movies), reprising their roles as Adonis Creed and Rocky Balboa. Steven Caple Jr. directed “Creed II” from an original screenplay co-written by Juel Taylor and Stallone, story by Sascha Penn and Cheo Hodari Coker, based on characters created by Stallone. The film is produced by Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, Kevin King-Templeton, and Stallone. Ryan Coogler, Jordan and Guy Riedel served as executive producers.

“Creed II” will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD. The Blu-ray Combo Pack features a Blu-ray disc with the film and special features in hi-definition, a DVD with the film in standard definition and a Digital version of the movie.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of “Creed II” will feature Dolby Vision HDR that dramatically expands the color palette and contrast range and uses dynamic metadata to automatically optimize the picture for every screen, frame by frame.

Fans can also own “Creed II” via purchase from digital retailers in 4K Ultra HD featuring Dolby Vision HDR, high definition, and standard definition beginning February 12 from MGM. On March 5, “Creed II” will be available On Demand.

SYNOPSIS

Probably my movie of the year. I went in expecting the worst since the premise was cheesy on paper but it had all of the drama of the first while not being a copy cat. It felt like Rocky II which is a good thing.
