Trailer looks amiable enough.

Not something I'd personally bother going to see in the cinema, though it's a unfortunate for those who would like to.

Netflix seems to be determined to kill cinema (at least outwith the USA).

Pretty soon UK cinemas will look like this:

Screen 1: Iron Man 4: Iron Harder
Screen 2: Spider-Man IX: Web of Death
Screen 3: Black Panther 3: Out of Africa
Screen 4: Aquaman Down Under
Screen 5: The Fastest and Most Furious
Screen 6: Creed 3: Drago's Grandson's Revenge
Screen 7: The Avengers Re-assembled
Screen 8: Avatar, Part 62 - Dances with Smurfs
Screen 9: Jane Bond
Screen 10: Star Wars, Episode X - A New Trilogy
Screen 11: Mission: Impossible - I'm too old for this shit!

Don't blame Netflix, blame the studios.

To be fair, there's enough blame to go around.

Watched this last night, it was a pleasant enough experience, not a classic by any means.

Support original films then, more than enough out every week.

This was so average. They could have played with the meta part more. Should have just been released on Netflix. But I guess making $44M overall domestic isn't terrible.

2/5.

I can cape for almost any romcom because even the really bad ones have something likable about them. Well, Isn’t It Romantic sets a new bar.

This film was god awful. Watch the trailers and you can figure out exactly where this film is going. It’s billed as an anti-romcom but it falls into the exact same cliches it’s pushing against and mocking. The script is a mess, the editing is atrocious and the story overall is just plain stupid. The idea was really wasted on the film. In more capable hands, this could have been something.

The cast is fine. Rebel Wilson is charismatic, Devine and Hemsworth are fine enough leads, though Liam lacked any spark.. Priyanka Chopra continues to prove she truly cannot act. Everyone else is forgettable beyond belief.

I checked my watch 11 times during the 84 minute duration. I almost walked out at one point but didn’t want to be mad at myself for wasting an A-List spot.

Alright comedy film, had some good laughs. Pokes fun at rom com tropes while being a room com.

That write up sounds more like 1/5 than 2/5.

I gave it a 2 because I did think Rebel did a good job in her role and there were certain scenes I did like, but I won't be rushing out to own this anytime soon. A 1/5 would have constituted me walking out.
