The initial movie listings were posted for my local AMC theater and this is being shown in IMAX 3D. I couldn't find a specific 3D thread for this movie so I thought I would post the news here.

I watched it last weekend, and it's probably one of the best animated movies I've ever watched. The artwork is very creative, and different from other animated movies I've watched. The story was really well done too, especially with how they incorporated all of the other Spider characters, and the introduction of Miles Morales.

I took both my nephews to it, and they loved it. The theater was packed full of mostly adults, but everyone clapped at the end of it. Just make sure you stay for the post credit scene.

i tend to agree, Venom has 3-min features of this one and oh, man it was absolutely fantastic! the animation style was so unique and breakthrough... i can't wait to watch in 3D IMAX...

It would be an odd thing to highlight on a Sony movie, being that the Playstation doesn't do 4K discs.
