Mary Jane period was my main reason for disliking this film. She complained/cried/played the victim waaaaaay too much. Spidey is fighting a man made of freaking SAND without complaint and MJ is crying because her acting career took a temporary detour? That's a bit lame in my opinion.

i totally agree that mj screwed the whole movie up. "oh peter that was our kiss". get over it lady, he is freakin spider man and can do whatever he wants. i dont really like how htey had 2 new villans in the same movie. they should have just stuck with venom. that way it would not have had a million story lines and would have been shorter (too long in my opinon). It was a sweet movie PQ wise.

There are at least some slight differences between all 3 versions of Spider-Man 3 on Blu-Ray (individual release, boxed set release, and PS3 release).

As far as the contents on the discs themselves go, the individual movie release and boxed set release are the same. However, there are some slight differences in the packaging. The individual one has a slip cover not included with the box set version. Also, on the side of the box where the 'Spider-Man 3' title is written, the background behind it (with the webbing design) is red on the individual release (both on the slip cover and the actual label in the case), and the backgroud on the boxed set version is blue.

There is a barcode on the back of the individual release, but not on the back of the boxed set version.


The PS3 version is only the first disc, and I saw a used copy of it at Gamestop recently and noticed a few differences. The front of the box has some other writing on the front of the box that the other versions don't have (there's an additional silver area at the top of the box, if I recall correctly, which something writting there, as well as different writing on the bottom, and I believe it mentioned Playstation 3 on it).

I didn't really pay much attention to the back of the box, though I'd imagine there's some differences there since it doesn't have the extras.

The side of the box is blue, like the one in the boxed set.
