Oh so you were the lone soul.

Upside down, sideways, diagonal...along with lines and colors are all artistic preferences.
And art will always be subjective. I’m *incredulous* that folks still find this *incredulous*.
It’s almost like being *incredulous* that the sun is bright, or hot.

The actual artwork itself is fine, but like you said, that "flip over" style is annoying. Even if you do want to display the back, the spine is reversed/upside-down, so it accomplishes nothing lol. And then Best Buy had the audacity to market their BvS Steelbook as two separate Steelbooks so people would collect them

I mean, let me put it this way; how many people display their SB's flayed open and outwards? Let alone "display" them at all? IF so, it's usually one side forward only. Few designs are even meant to be wraparound these days anyhow, with the main art nearly always being exclusive to the front. This allows for two unique prints per film and allows it to be oriented either way for those who DO display them, such as myself. I use magnet racks I built to showcase steels, so this turns one SB into two, effectively.

I asked about Aquaman and Fantastic Beasts Steelbooks being released in store and/or able to be ordered in store and got the following reply on Twitter:-

At the time of writing, store customer orders are currently under investigation and are unavailable, unfortunately. We have no current information on the availability of these items,

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Just had HMV charge my card for this... or at least I assume it's this since I can't check my orders on their website!

I have to get used to that anyway... German regular releases have a habit of routinely writing the spines 'reversed/upside-down' compared the US/UK ones and often they are the only/cheapest source of a title on BD that hasn't been released in the UK (except sometimes on DVD!).

Upsets my OCDishness, but I'd rather have the title than miss out or have it only on DVD.

It's incredibly annoying... even if they don't allow new orders they should be allowing people to see their present ones (and preferably details like if it was originally an HMV 4K/3D/2D set is it still? and also final artwork) as if the discs and art turn out to be downgraded/same as elsewhere they should also AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IMO allow you to cancel without either jumping through hoops or trying to get a refund after it arives... especially as we now tkow they are shipping in padded envelopes and (despite complaints) have stated they will continue to do so... presumably as they don't intend to gear up for online ordering apart from ones that have been made already...

Unfortunately I had to replace my card recently and I can’t update orders on HMV so I’ll just be getting emails for the next free weeks telling me they tried to take payment.

I managed to order this item from Zavvi in time but unfortunately I’m ****ed as far as Aquaman is concerned.

Okay, looks like Zavvi has a two disc version and Amazon has three discs?

If you believe their details -- I'm suspecting they're identical, but I'm not sure which site is less inaccurate. Historically you say they're both wrong, but I doubt that's the case here/

Just to note Warner never did 4K and 3D in the same steelbook and this was advertised as 4K only. The HMV steelbooks that were 4K and 3D were Universal.

There extended Cut is on blu-ray and included but its sealed in carboard and not in an actual disk slot. This Steelbook was made for 2 Disks.

Hopefully yours arrived in better shape than mine did. Huge dent in the front of it and the plastic wrap was torn - wonder how far I’ll get with HMV customer service?

This whole release is weird, from the upside-down rear cover to the extended cut having the inexplicable text on deleted scenes... just downright odd.

Still a nice-looking steelbook though, picked mine up today from my local post office.

Still waiting for Amazon to dispatch mine yet. I messaged them and was told as I chose free shipping, it may take 5-7 days to dispatch and its due to arrive 26 March. Since when has free shipping dictated dispatch?
Since HMV had their problems has anyone else noticed how Amazon have slipped- AND upped their blu ray prices? No competition= screw the customer
