I was gonna go after GotGv2 but am just gonna go for Ragnarok.

How fast do you think this would sell out? I've never bought things from Zavvi before. Can I wait for a decent hour or do I get on the time immediately? GOTG is still available.

No clue, wouldn't want to give you bad advice.

Keep an eye on the Guardians of the Galaxy version for the next couple of hours to see when/if it sells out as a good litmus test.

These are so expensive, and so clearly designed to exploit double/triple+ dipping collectors, that as far as I’m concerned, if they had any decency, they would offer these editions without discs, at a lower price. Hear me out. Most people will already have the discs by the time the lenticular exclusive is released; if they don’t, the discs can be obtained cheaply elsewhere. The likelihood of someone who never bought a previous edition getting this expensive release before it sells out is far-fetched. Including the same discs (without exclusive content) essentially allows them to sell new packaging at a higher price to people who already have the discs. I know, I know, this will never happen and it’s a waste of breath.

For those who are missing a disc, good for you (truly), now’s the time to get it. These steels are great. But you’re probably still double-dipping on at least one of the discs, right?

Perhaps the ideal collector’s packaging would be one where you buy an inner disc-holding container with the discs (like the plastic inside a Steelbook), and you can purchase one or more accompanying exterior covers (like the metal part of a Steelbook) that are on offer for the title in question. They could release new covers over time, for fair prices, no double-dipping on discs involved, and people could easily collect and change the covers for the inner container themselves. Likewise, they could release new content (new discs in an inner container) that you could use older exterior covers for. It would probably end up being like the smartphone-case market - with official and unofficial exterior covers that couldn’t be produced at home - but not nearly as saturated. Feels a little late for a major new physical media packaging format but you never know...

These are seriously overpriced for overdue simple lenticular steels (no matter how attractive), and Zavvi recently made delivery to Switzerland (and apparently much of Europe) £6+ when it used to be free (even for Steels), and they still don’t remove VAT for non-EU customers, so... Either they drop the price or I drop the idea of buying...
