But would they show the game this early. They could do a character closeup (like Heavy Rain) to show off how much the detail's gone up without revealing too much.

Easily MGS4.
It will be one of those games, that will always be rembered as a milestone and taking the industry to higher levels. MGS4 in it's current state is so much more than many games released - story, gameplay, atmosphere are beyond any game expierence. So this game might be a contender to the title of one of the best games ever - mark my words :P

2nd will be Fallout 3
I saw the secret presentation at GC 07 in Leipzig and this game will be awesome.

I would not be surprised at all if Final Fantasy XIII is released in Japan in 2008.

I think I'd fall over from a heart attack and die if it was released anywhere else in the world in 2008. No way in hell.

If Spore (PC) releases in 2008, it will most likely win Game of the Year from many places.

My intuition tells me that LittleBigPlanet (PS3) could indeed do extremely well.

I don't think MGS4 will win Game of the Year. It's going to be a great game, but it's too niche. Final Fantasy XIII has more a chance to win, IMO.
