For my money Pet Sematary is a great and very well made horror film and one of the best Stephen King film adaptions (the book is amazing though). It has a great creepy atmosphere, solid performances, perfect locations, very well directed and has one of Elliot Goldenthal's best scores that is hauntingly eerie. I'll never understand the hate that it gets. It's a lot better than many horror films out there IMO.

I too didn't liked this movie (I actually liked part 2 better), but good for those who did liked it, enjoy the 4K Blu-ray if you're double-dipping that is.

Certain things in the trailer feel a little like The Haunting in Connecticut to me. Which is a movie that overall is not liked (17%) but one that I happen to love.

I just have a really good feeling that I'll like this. no matter what the critics or anyone else says.

I want to support the format but this movie isn't one that I need to upgrade to 4k uhd. The blu-ray is good enough I think.

New one looks solid. Hopefully we will see more horror titles on the format in 2019.

I wish this was a two pack that included the second film which hasn't been released on Blu-ray at all even though it has an HD Remaster.

Oddly enough, I don't think I've seen this one in full. But I've seen the ending a few times since i always somehow used to tune in towards the last few minutes as a kid.

The film's flawed (King is a much better novelist than he is a screenwriter), but I've always liked it. I'll be buying this for sure. Good thing I didn't pick up the UK BD that came out not long ago.

Call me a sadist, but I want Silver Bullet in 4K. I know it's probably the least impressive King adaptation, but it has a certain charm.
