![]() Two very different, equally good films. I’d never be able to choose! One’s a bleak yet important drama featuring uncomfortable scenes of domestic violence on a child but a fantastic lead performance from Han Ji-min that deserves to be seen, while the other is a charming tale of a city girl showing urban life the middle finger and moving to the quiet countryside, featuring the lovely Kim Tae-ri and lots of delicious-looking food. So maybe choose based on your preference of the subject matter? |

Changed my order to "Type B" after looking more closely at the artwork (plus I think I'll like the storyboard book more than the script).

I typically might look at the bonus book once and then it stays in the package for good. Looking forward to this. ![]() |

I went with Type B because I felt the slipcase artwork had a bit more personality.
Doesn't really matter because the '1/4 slip' at the bottom obscures the slipcase artwork anyway! I do prefer the inside case cover of type A though. Shipping is about the same with either type, so I wasn't too concerned about size. |

I got Type B too. I'm kinda obsessed with Kim Tae-ri at the moment, so having her on the snowy image made the decision easy. Plus, if I have to have one of two books that are both in a language that I cannot read much, I'd rather get the one with some pictures in it!

I'll have to respectfully disagree. Not that I have anything against Japanese cinema, they would come in a close second to Korean cinema. I think I've come to appreciate them both very much after a steady diet of nothing but hollywood fluff (90% at east)for all my childhood, young adult and most of my adult life. Not that I'm really knocking hollywood, look at my collection, but it does get to be too much over-the-top action/explosions after a while.

The listing for the LITTLE FOREST photobook is live on Plain Archive.
Shipping cost to the US is ridiculously high ($53!!), so I recommend buying from either Aladin or Kyobobooks, both of which ship internationally. Last edited by moviewizguy; 12-11-2020 at 03:57 PM. |
