I received mine last week but have not watched it yet. Can't wait after reading hariseldon's review.

So glad I saw this thread; the first feature film had charmed me utterly via Blu-ray 3D and I wasn't aware of the second. For me the 3D of the first film had just the right mixture of unobtrusive dimensionality and in-your-face effects, making it much more fun than the series (minor quibbles aside).

It seems hard to believe that Minuscule 2 did not warrant a general Blu-ray 3D release. Hence an extra big thankyou for the heads-up in this thread regarding cede.de -- I've ordered my copy from them and will await delivery with undue impatience.

Patience.
I ordered 2 and they took a while.
One took 20 more days than the other!

Cede.com seems to have two 3D versions listed: one with a German cover for EUR16.49 and one with a French cover for EUR13.99. But aren't these the same edition just with a reversible cover? That's what it suggests at the start of this thread. I'm just wondering why there is a price difference. Obviously I want to ensure I get the 3D version but also I don't want to pay more than I need to (even if it is only EUR2.50).

Yes they're the same reversible cover.

Mine arrived today after just two days in the mail (darn it, found no time to grow impatient). As has been stated earlier, it comes with a reversible French / German cover, and the disc itself is universal too – like on the first Minuscule, you can choose between the 3D and the 2D version, and there are French and German menus as well (picking the German "version" selects a subtitle set; most likely for the occasional writing). After spot checking for 3D issues I can see the criticism but I expect to be quite satisfied overall as I am a sucker for these, and being dialogue-free is the icing on the cake.

Will definitely follow the shining example of philsfan and trawl through the 3D offerings.

It was amusing to see the Praesens-Film logo in a contemporary context because I was familiar with them only through my archival work – they were originally connected with Slatan Dudow and Leopold Lindtberg, and they hold the rights to Georg Wilhelm Pabst films.

Just as a heads up before you put in that time, looks like only Miniscule sequel was shipped. 6 of the 8 or so discs that appeared to be instock when I bought them are coming up as out of stock in the subsequent email. Too early to tell if they will never ship or if cede is ordering them. Fingers crossed!

BTW I did enjoy this little treasure but the first film was a little more enjoyable than the sequel. BTW I also remember liking the 3D in the first film lots better. The second film was a lot milder.

Arrow 1 copy to go

Having dispatched copies of the Swiss/French 3D edition to over a dozen members back in 2019, I now have one more brand-new copy to sell off. Just as I did not make a profit back then, I'm actually willing to take a loss on this one (I got it in-store for CHF 19.90 from Fnac Switzerland back in 2019 but only just found it. I already have my own opened copy which I'm keeping).

If any European members are interested I can get it to them with quick shipping for about £19 / €22 total. Send me a direct message if you're interested (I may not check this thread as often for replies). If no European members get back to me, I'll offer it to other members

I never received mine from RWC back then. I would suggest springing for insured or at least a tracking #.

Yeah, most people who ordered from the US chose tracking, but everyone there regardless of shipping option received theirs except you, hope you managed to find a copy eventually. This is why I'm only offering this one to European members for now, as Economy shipping is more reliable here (never had something gone missing).

Can't seem to find the 3D version available anywhere. Some have the complete TV series and the first edition or the second edition on Blu-ray or DVD only.

Thanks so much for the links but I saw no information regarding English subtitles. Are there any?

LOL. Since it lists audio I'm wondering if that pertains not to the soundtrack but just the special features?

Ordered the French cover. Have 2 region free players.

Yeah I think there’s no spoken language in each of the two films. Or maybe like 1 line of some picnickers running away or something, definitely no subs or sub needed.

Stupid question but do the prices include shipping to the US on cede.com?

I ask because I currently have three items in my shopping cart including this movie but I don't want to create yet another account unless I am definitely going to make a purchase and the site won't let me check out as a guest or calculate the shipping unless I register
