Papa Roach, Known for billboard toping hits such as "Last Resort, Scars, and Forever" have left the high profile Geffen Records today, which houses other bands such as Angels And Airwaves, Puddle of Mudd, Weezer, and Garbage to name a few.

In case anyone doesnt know, Indie bands have such a low chance of selling records, or scoring any kind of hits on radio charts.. much less sell albums.

They have now signed to 10th entertainment, which has up and coming bands such as Sixx Am. Buckcherry, Motley crue also call the label home.

I met Jay Kolby years ago, and he was great to meet in person.

But this move to a new indie label is stupid.. talk about killing off a great band..

A new cd is due within the next few months. No reason as to why they left, but it may have to do with lack of promotion for their last album, with only one song, Forever, going all the way to #2 on the alternative charts, the other 4 singles, including Time is Running out and Reckless failed to spark any interest.
