preordered without hesitation but 2 points

1) front cover art couldve been way better
2) $37.xx after tax for physical media is getting ridiculous

I remember when the marvel steels were $22.99 on release day, it all started to go up with the first ant-man steel was $27.99, yes I know these new ones are 4k but that still is a huge markup to what we were paying especially in an age where more people are going digital, this should not be more than $29.99 but I am going to buy it regardless, rant over.

I don’t like it either, but inflation is what inflation is. Nothing is immune to it.
Materials cost money. Fuel costs money. Everyone who earns a salary enjoys an increase in pay. Plus numerous other cost related items.
If steelbooks are around 10yrs from now I’m sure folks will be claiming that ~$35 was a great price.

Target exclusive for me. Best Buy's MCU Steelbooks have been terrible lately, aside from 4K re-releases.

The first Guardians was $19.99 for the 3D Steelbook in 2014. Never forget.

Pre-ordered this morning. Had an issue with Best Buy not letting the order go through if I tried paying with Paypal for some reason, but when I switched to credit card, it was fine. Had a $5 RZ cert that I've been sitting on for a couple of weeks, so I used it on this to ease the pain.

Steelbook most likely have a matte finish.

I'm sticking with Target exclusive as they have been superior and I've purchased those editions since Thor: Ragnarok, so I'll have to continue that with Captain Marvel.

Hoping that is placement artwork and not yet finalized. It’s ok, but they could EASILY do WAY better.

I’m in for the Zavvi 3D version right now though. Only thing that could trump that is the BluFans version if the artwork is better enough to justify the extra $15 I’ll have to spend for it.

What’s this? Artwork on day 1, and it’s not terrible? This is not the Best Buy I know.

I hope that artwork changes.

I'll still be getting it either way to match the rest of my steels, but it deserves better artwork than that.

Target is knocking it out of the park with their exclusives. The only one that I don't care for is Black Panther because of the difference in packaging, being 1 disc. The cover isn't great either.

My last 19.99 SteelBook was Age of Ultron. With that said, I think they could have chosen a better cover but I won't complain too much. Curious to the back artwork.
A little over a month from now and I'll pre order this with the Endgame SteelBook for that free shipping.

Like I have for almost all my super-hero films, only buying one copy. As I'm quite confident a Premium (or 2 or 3) will hit the market, I'll wait.

I was preparing myself for a Fonzie lunchbox-themed steelbook. This is nice.
