The Alien franchise is by far my favorite. I've been obsessing over it since my pre-teen years, so I probably should have something more constructive and thoughtful than just "meh", but that's exactly my reaction to that first short.

These will never be up to what we grew up with, but at least it's a good first attempt.

Loved the Covenant vibe to this short. Plus, the used technology, big thumbs up. Let's see what they pull off with the next five shorts.

Cant say I would want to spend any longer in either of these worlds so far tbh but I am glad these exist. It shows a continued interest in the franchise I adore.

That was pretty damn good, unlike the first one. It wouldn't be out of place as a suspense sequence in an actual Alien film.

Love the suspense in both shorts (so far). Here’s to hoping Disney/Fox, revitalizes this beloved franchise (I guess the waiting game begins if, big IF, they green light Ridley’s final chapter)..
