Oof, the covers suck, f**k it. Not gonna get this superior 4K release with a better master and compression and just get the 4 pack BD for like $15.

Calling it ahead of time that someone will say that un-ironically.

Why the big fuss over Uma Thurman missing? It's not like she was that good, to begin with. To be honest, her acting was missing from the movie anyway. Everybody's was. Except maybe Alicia's. Though I have a soft/hard spot for her. One of my favorite actresses.

The artwork leaves much to be desired. While the seemingly 60's TV series inspired style is appropriate for the Schumacher movies, it's really out of place for the Burton series.

That aside, I am getting them all.

Then all I will need on 4K is the 66 movie.

After what happened with the Matrix set, tempted to wait and see if the boxset drops down to a price where it just makes more sense to buy that instead of the individual ones I want (which is really just '89, but I kinda want Forever for nostalgic reasons and Returns will probably look great if nothing else... don't really give a crap about B&R but if the price is low enough, might as well consider it a bonus feature).

Well the artwork is STUNNING to me. I love it. Getting it day 1 (I mean, I already was but this further cemented my decision). Now we just need an official announcement.

Yeah, the colouring's definitely an improvement (Returns fittingly fares best of the four), but they still look shitty. Gotta love how they're described in the press announcement: "... new art designed in stunning glossy retro colours reminiscent of the 1980's and 1990's era when the films were originally released in theatres."
