Actually it is pretty relaxing living here.

It's just stressful collecting SteelBooks. However, I don't think it is any different in the US or the UK. SteelBooks sell out as does physical media in general. If you don't pick it up over a few days after release (or pre-order), you will have to look it up on eBay or in the marketplace.

On the flip side, there are lots of people selling SteelBooks on Facebook or Kijiji in Canada. No shortage of sellers now that physical media is fading.

In fact, I just found another IRON MAN for $20.00.

Weren't we supposed to be waiting till sometime in May for the option to place an order to drop? Has anybody gotten an order in as of yet?? It seems that most people are in the dark on these...
Toy Story 1, 2 and 3, Cinderella and Captain Marvel all debuted for sale (pre-order) a week ago today, Thursday April 18th around 10 p.m. EDT.

All 5 are Disney/Marvel titles and are being released in 4K steelbooks.
Toy Story 1-3 are catalog titles making their 4K debut and so they are getting a very limited steelbook release in Canada.
They were sold out by the next day most likely scooped up 10 at a time by re-sellers.

Cinderella is another catalog title making its 4K debut in a limited steelbook but not as popular since it isn't an animated film. This will definitely come back in stock before release day and stick around after release day.

Captain Marvel of course is a new release. This will have a larger steelbook print run. Captain Marvel and Cinderella were still in stock and available for pre-order 2 days later when all 5 above mentioned steelbooks were removed from Best Buy Canada's website.

Captain Marvel and Cinderella will come back in stock. I don't know about Toy Story 1-3.

These are my observations from searching "steelbook" on Best Buy's site many times a day, every day.

If you're not prepared to check every day then yes you will miss out on some releases. Most steelbooks aren't released to any Best Buy Canada stores anymore and can only be ordered online. The "Glass" 4K exclusive steelbook was a recent exception and you can still find them in stores and online.

Sorry - quick question for clarity... I thought the Cinderella that was listed was animated and wasn't 4k?

Just making sure I read it right...

Edit: just checked the website, and it is back up there... it does look though that it is the animated one, and doesn't mention 4k (that I can see). Am I missing something?
