Yep and that cave scene is in my top 3 MCU moments. Despite MCU coming a long way, I still think IM1 is avant-garde and special.

The best Iron Man movie by far! Will buy if :

- No Disney tinkering is done with the audio, needs to sound as good or better than the blu.
- New transfer with: New HDR grade, no DNR. The German UHD release looks very strange.

I don't remember how that scene sounds and I have made a lot of system changes since the last time I watched the movie...thanks for the reminder! Gives me a chance to rock my room yet again....

Hopefully this won't be DNR'd like the German Concorde release. But also hoping Disney don't screw up the audio.

Crank it up and revisit it with your new gear! It's a favorite of mine, first time I heard it I was in awe! From the bullets ricocheting around in the cave, the THUNDEROUS deep end while he's walking out (some of the richest bass I've heard on BD), the 50 cal (?) shooting at him, the chaos during his destroying the camp, etc...just an audio demo worthy scene IMO.

Totally. I can't stress that enough. I've held off on buying the Avengers steelbooks because of those terrible phoned-in designs. There is certain to be some additional Avengers steelbooks released sometime down the line. Whereas, I picked up all three captain America ones on day1.

Please be more like Captain America, Iron Man steelbooks.

Did I dream that they're putting out the whole MCU collection (Iron Man to the new Avengers) in a single 4k UHD set?

I swear to god I saw the box. It was like a hand with a bunch of colored rings on it. And now I can't find any trace of it.

If Disney screws this up then I fear this will carry on with FOX titles as well. If this happens then I won't be buying any Disney titles unless they get the audio right
