I agree on Marantz's SACD line. Love the new Ruby Signature series and of course, the SA-10. Marantz is the premier line for Sound United and it's not going anywhere.

So now all the mainstream brands bar Sony are consolidated and will likely end up sharing technology. Will this be like Pioneer in LD days where almost every other player from other brands was merely a rebadge?

Hey, Robert. I'm a huge Classe Audio fan. I've been emailing back and forth with Dave Nauber about their new SSP in the works (slated to release in late 2020) do you think this news affects Classe in any way and are you an authorized dealer for Dave?

Other than the HDMI board issues, I think Onkyo was already par with Marantz. They've been par for decades. Denon and Pioneer in the same class as well, but they had better flagship models.
