This movie had amazing "magical" scenes, not sure why they chose to go with that.

Regular 4K for me.

That is such an ugly steelbook. Why not use the back image as the front? I have the lenticular slipcover from Best Buy for this and it's beautiful, the glass slipper is enough in my opinion.

Probably because it looks like the old original Cinderella steelbook they released years ago.

I'm not joking, it has to be extremely ultra clear for customers or else they will have no clue. Don't get me started on the Stranger Things VHS packaging or how movies on sale (that included the DVD) and not the DVD counterpart and people were angry at BB because they only wanted the DVD. Customer is always right!

The standard 4K artwork may be the same used for the Bluray/DVD combo but it is still the best.

I can see this being $19.99 in the future lol, no reason to release this in 4k. No idea why cinderella is getting a rerelease with nothing to tie it in with. On top of the ugly artwork, this wasnt that popular of a movie compared to the other live action disney films, dont think this will sell out unless there is 2-3 a store, but at $34.99 thats not happening.

Not counting Alice and Maleficent, this was the first of the direct remakes to be released. Could be that 4K versions of Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast aren't far behind.

I'm only buying this because I've been collecting Disney 4K titles on Steelbook and want them to match... but this one is giving me pause...because that is one ugly front cover.

I was hoping it was a decorative J-card covering better artwork below...looks like I was dead wrong.

At least the Dumbo and Aladdin steelbooks are looking pretty great and will sit along nicely next to Mary Poppins Returns.

Got a shipping notification this morning for both this and the animated film's steelbook.

Hopefully they show up this weekend, I can't wait to see how they look in person!

something about steelbooks with art with the actor on it rarely appeals to me. i didnt mind the new marvel 4k steelbooks with it because they had a worn look with a unique border ontop of matching each other which is ALWAYS a big plus for me when its a collection.

That is the only way to make a statement to Disney. We're not going to pay $35 for a godawful looking, uninspired, lazy, cheap steelbook.
