I love the beginning of Solace. It’s my least favourite of the Craig’s but I like it nonetheless. I will buy every Bond that gets a release on the format.

I'm happy liking the movies I enjoy and letting other folks have their own choices. Only problem there is if only a few like the ones I do, they'll never make it to 4K.

I loved Quantum of Solace since opening night (it's in my Top 5) back in 2008, and I've not cared for Skyfall in the slightest since opening night in 2012. I accept that I'm in the minority with that opinion, though.

It's a messy film for sure, but there are a lot of great scenes in it. It's nowhere near as bad as the last two Brosnan pictures. IMO they're the worst in the series.

Indeed! The World is Not Enough was okay, and anything with Sophie Marceau has that going for it at least, but you're totally right that Die Another Day was an absolute dumpster fire. Though even that I'll still watch just for Rosamund Pike...
