I completely agree with you.

Me and my wife finally got a chance to sit down and watch JW3 a few nights ago and boy was it ever over the top to say the least.

The first movie was fantastic and felt like a nice balance. The 2nd started to move the needle while the 3rd just totally went full on fight scene after fight scene with a lot of "give me a break" moments thrown in for good measure. Too many over the top and drawn-out scenes took too much away from an otherwise enjoyable character. We were both so fatigued from it all that we just wanted it to end.

I disagree completely; over the top, yes, but definitely in a good way. The John Wick Universe is stylized in just the right way; any serious fan of golden age Hong Kong action classics will eat these films right up. Action ballet extraordinaire. I can’t wait for Chapter 4.

Duh, which is why I stated mine. Also, if you don’t like the film, there are other places to be for you besides a thread dedicated to its Blu-ray release. This isn’t the review thread.

There's an hilarious video on youtube where someone digitally manipulated one of the scenes to show what it would have looked like if they used real world suppressors. It was the scene where he and Common are secretly shooting at each other across a crowded corridor. Of course they don't have bullet proof clothing anywhere near as thin or effective as Wicks either. But, that knowledge doesn't detract from how fun these movies are.

I haven't seen the third, but the first two are some of the few movies that actually show proper, advanced handgun technique. But, I can see how someone who's idea of proper gun control is from badly researched movies might think differently. I just watched the latest Halloween last night and, as much as I enjoyed it, it kept bugging me how the seasoned deputy didn't know how to enter a room or even hold his weapon properly. If he actually fired the thing holding it the way he was, the weapon would have jammed, and possibly dislocated his thumb. Clearly he's the one that Laurie must have learned from, as she was making all the same mistakes and then some when she was doing the house sweep with her rifle.

It doesn't seem like it would be all that effective. At worst you'd have to physically mail the sheet at the cost of a stamp and envelope. But, can't you just email or text a picture of the sheet? If so, it seems it would only be a problem for those who don't have smartphones or tablets to be able to scan the code. Which, maybe if you sent Lg a complaint saying you don't have a phone, they'd send you a typed code.

So does the Blu=Ray suffers from a bit of banding?
