I suspect we will see Carol Danvers in one or two cameos before this movie comes out. It seems that her home base won't be Earth. Maybe she runs into the Eternals at some point in time. She might show up in a new Guardians movie.

I find the first movie quite rewatchable. Now that I know what is going to happen I just tag along for the ride and enjoy it. The plot is still somewhat convoluted, but since there is no longer any suspense, it doesn't bother me.

MCU origin movies are generally the weakest in the series. I'm glad Guardians jumped right into the action. I'm looking forward to CM2. Hopefully it will just be promoted as Brianne Desaulniers starring in an awesome MCU movie, and not as some symbolic historic undertaking.

I thought The Eternals was going to be a prequel taking place thousands of years ago, since their entire race are extinct so to speak.

I'm not a big fan of the first one (after a single theater viewing). It's lower-mid-tier MCU to me. But of course they're making more. Hopefully, it will be better. I'm sure at the very least, it will be visually spectacular, since she's fully powered now. I wonder if it will be another prequel, though? There's a big span of time between CM and Endgame.

Same here. I loved the cosmic/Sci-Fi vibe it had. Can't wait to see more Carol.
