I prefer the golden age Sandman however.

These NF shows always look so exciting and promising, then it ends up in a huge disappointment (sooner or later).

I'll give it a chance since, you know, it does look exciting and promising.

I cannot wait for this show. With Gaiman so closely attached and the trailer yesterday, I'm feeling optimistic. That could be my love of the comic coming through. This only trails Preacher as my favorite comic of all time and we all know how horrible that show was.

Gaiman says expense of the show might cost it a second season, even though it's done very well viewing wise, second season isn't automatic.

I didn’t care much for the bonus episode. It was decent but a step down from the rest of the season.

This makes most other adaptations of genre fiction look like a joke. Absolutely superb in nearly every regard. My favourite thing in this style since Noah Hawley's Legion.

I'm 6 episodes in now and have been completely won over by it (having never read any of the graphic novels before, and generally not enjoying Gaiman's other work). The storytelling and cast are just wonderful.

The only thing I don't like is the terrible decision to vertically stretch the picture, whatever the creative intention behind it - incredibly distracting and uglies things up.

Seriously wtf is that about? Love the show but that is giving me a headache.

Just finished episode 6 and I am really loving this show so much! Not familiar with the source material at all but now I'm really curious.
