Paramount lost the license to it, that's why it went out of print in the first place.

Yeah, Got A Light needs its own 10 disc box set.

It's still in print via Criterion, with the same transfer as CBS/Paramount's original set. Just get that to complete the collection.

How is this a necessity to own for anyone who already owns TEM and the season three blu-Ray?

It’s not, but if you didn’t already buy the seasons or wanted them all together is a good buy, because season 1 & 2 are out of print in America.

Is there any cover art yet? I might get it if it's a beautiful box. When I first watched Twin Peaks I bought the Gold Box set, which was beautiful. Then the revival came out and to catch up on the original I bought the UK Blu-Ray, the presentation of which I was honestly underwhelmed by. So I said to myself that if they ever come out with a complete collection I'd buy it if it was a beautiful set.

My guess is this will be a thick plastic amaray case that holds like twenty-something (or however many) discs. One would hope that a sleeve stays in print with it. This just seems like the routine thing that Paramount would do with what's effectively a reissue.

Underwhelmed by the A/V...or just the packaging? The current rate for the UK is "can't refuse," and I'm only in it for the blus, well protected in a no-nonsense case.

This set is perfect for me who has FWWM criterion but didn’t get the set before because they had it available on streaming. Just don’t buy it if you already own it. It’s really that simple

Packaging. Compared to the US Gold Box it's underwhelming.

I've got the Entire Mystery box set along with the Revival season (not to mention the Criterion release of Fire Walk With Me). As long as this doesn't offer anything new that isn't in those sets, I'm good.

I am going to control myself since I have the two original box sets and pass on this. Unless it is all the discs in amray cases, then I will get it just so I can pull it off the shelf and put a disc on without all the fuss of the box sets. I will not be getting rid of them for any reason.

As I have said elsewhere, I thought Season 3 was mediocre/adequate. It had some interesting aspects as was to be expected, but all in all was too dark and twisted for my taste (darkness also needs light for contrast and completeness) and I thought it lacked the charm and 'heart' (=light) of the original series. In my opinion it was not up to the standard of especially Season 1 and not something I feel the need to rewatch, but I am pleased to have seen it.

Glad this collection comes out for completists though and for those who did enjoy Season 3 a lot (it was divisive also among fans though many did love it).
There was plenty humour and light. Every scene with Dougie for a start. Also Candie. That’s just for starters.

By the way, I don’t think the show is decisive as you make out. It’s got great ratings on RT, IMDB and the various TP threads are mostly positive.

Not to mention that it even made it to some best-of-the-year film lists, like in Cahiers du Cinema. I'm sure it'll end up in quite a few best-of-the-decade lists when they start being published in 2020.

Agreed. I didn’t want it to end and I was craving it for quite a few weeks after. Now I have the discs, I will be watching it every year.
