So this thread is just for what he wrote and directed?

I have to throw From Dusk Til Dawn into the mix. I love that movie.

Just what he wrote/directed NOT what he only wrote. So stuff like NBK, From Dusk till Dawn and True Romance do not count.

He has nine (9) films, nine full feature movies that he directed.

The Man from Hollywood (Four Rooms) is not a full feature film, it's a short segment of various film contributors/directors.

Yeah, nine films...and number 10 is Star Trek, then Quentin is taking his retreat.

Kurt Russell’s performance alone would keep Death Proof from the lowest spot on my list (but I’m not really in the mood for ranking right now)

It’s much more of a “revelation” than Leo’s in Django Unchained, which mind you was still pretty shocking and effective.

And Zoe Bell? C’mon! Baddest chick on the planet and adorable throughout!

I need to give Inglorious Basterds another rewatch. I think I've only ever watched it twice and its probably been 5 years since my viewing.

Ouch! Judging by a lot of the rankings in this thread, it almost seems like it's on the verge of being a love it/hate it type of thing.

6 and 7 are interchangeable for me depending on which I saw last.

Best Soundtrack: Jackie Brown/Django
Best Writing: Jackie Brown
Best Directing: The Hateful Eight
Best Editing: Inglourious Basterds
Best Cinematography: Django/Kill Bill
Favourite: Character: Dr. King Schultz (though, if Adam Sandler had played the role of The Bear Jew, he'd be my No. 1 pick by far)

Since everyone is ranking the films, how about ranking the soundtracks?

I have Tarantino movies divided up into tiers...the top tier is Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds, Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs...I think Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds are his 2 best movies but I go back and forth on which one I prefer

I would have thought that writing and directing a quarter of a movie would fit into a "everything Tarantino" area (as laid out in the original post). True Romance, From Dusk Till Dawn, Natural Born Killers and the ER and CSI television work would also qualify.
