Keaton was great. One of the best Spider-Man villains on film, as well as one of the best MCU villains. I never thought the Vulture would look so cool and be such a great character.

I'm a sucker for Dafoe's Green Goblin. As cheesy as he was at times he was still incredibly intimidating.
I still remember the theater reaction. Everyone audibly gasped. It was a great moment. The closest thing we got to that in FFH was the JJJ reveal. |

Enjoyed both of em. But I'd go with Far From Home due to Mysterio.

Did you know that in the 1970's, Richard Nixon, said the line of Spider-Man, "With great power, goes great responsibility"? It's true. The line was first written in the 1962 comic book, "With great power, comes great responsibility". The then president Nixon must have been reading Spider-Man comic books before resigning due to corruption in the government.
Homecoming is more like an adventure film, and really benefits from Michael Keaton as the villain, who thinsk he's justified in his cause. Great action scenes in both films, but Vulture is very memorable, along the lines of the original Spider-Man Doc Oc in part 2, and Green Goblin in Spider-Man 1. No Way Home, they're just causing havoc, watered down by trying to fit in multiple villains. No Way Home is not a smart movie. It was written so that characters are making many dumb or foolish decisions to keep the plot going, or end up dying or unleashing tons of trouble, enemies onto the world. Far From Home, it's a high school soap opera disguised as a Superhero movie. Even the main villain is a hoax. And the vote goes to Spider-Man: Homecoming as the better written, better film overall. |
