I kinda know this is a jokey suggestion, but actually it's a great idea. Two bad ass femals actresses going head to head. Who would you pick though?

Charlize Theron vs Kate Beckinsale? I feel like Theron could sell it better than Beckinsale, so maybe Milla Jovovich?

Scar Jo just doesn't come across to me well in roles. I just never really feel she "embodies" the roles as well as say Theron. That's why i suggested Jovovich and they're both slightly older than Scar Jo with maybe a more accomplished way of acting out the necessary roles.

So i wouldn't mind seeing Jovovich vs Theron tbh if it was a serious idea. That said, i'm sure there's plenty more we could rattle off too with maybe even a left field choices who haven't done action roles much as Face Off didn't exactly have as demanding action as say Atomic Blonde or Resident Evil movies.

Face/Off worked because of Cage, Travolta, and Woo. Since this will presumably have none of them involved, who gives a s**t? I just don't understand studios. This will fail miserably. The fanbase for this movie loves this movie because of the three key players and what they all brought to the film.

I watched this film every single day one summer when I was a kid. Absolute childhood favourite, and still one of my favourite films. It's gonna take a lot of work to make a remake even half as decent as the original
