Thought I missed season three when a poster above said they watched it all!

Really enjoy this show this is one show that could easily last another couple of seasons without feeling stretched out but the trailer for the upcoming season, if it is to be the last I'm sure, will be great.

I’m on season 2 and I don’t want to Google because because it probably lead to spoilers.

Is the hand tracing that characters use for secret communication just a creation for the show or is something real?

They haven’t shown it close up but I can’t see how it could be communicating anything.

Finally got around to watching the final season for this series. This show is the definition of good but not great. Thats how id describe all 3 seasons tbh.

"It's pretty good, man" is the way I've been describing it to others.

I basically binged all three seasons of the last month. Definitely enjoyed it for what it was, and it does a better job than most with character building and story arcs of multiple people over the course of 24 episodes.

I very briefly met Jason Momoa at the end of 2019 in Vegas. I'm a 6ft, 220lb guy and I felt like an ant next to him. Super cool guy though, and I only wish I had seen some of the first season at that time so I could have called him Baba Voss; Seems like he had a great time with the character and I'm sure he would find it funny.

I finally decided to check this out. This is what I thought of each season.

Season 1
Interesting concept with some stunning cinematography and sets. I like the cast for the most part especially Jason Momoa and Christian Camargo who are total badasses. I’m a fan of Sylvia Hoeks but I found her too over the top as the queen. To the point she was just annoying. Like most shows there’s unfortunately filler so they final few episodes of season 1 dragged for me. The best thing about the show is the battles/fight scenes. My favorite being an epic brutal fight scene in episode 3. Which is incredibly choreographed. One of the coolest I’ve ever seen. I’m looking forward to continuing the series.

Fight scene below

Season Two
This season completely sucked. They turned the show into a soap opera. It’s just boring and meandering. Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista are wasted. They’re barely in the season. Sylvia Hoeks and gives one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen in a TV show. She’s completely insufferable. Besides the first and last episodes it was basically all filler. The world building and interesting ideas from season 1 are destroyed for a bad Game of Thrones imitation. All the new characters are lame. There’s a hideous blue filter. There’s hardly any action until the last episode which does have a great battle. Besides that that just a worthless shit season.

Season Three
It was better than season two but it still was a soap opera with a lot of filler. The villian was weak and the ending was anticlimactic. There wasn’t one action scene that really stood out. Most of it was just generic. I wasn’t a fan of how they handled a few of the main characters either. Ultimately it was a very disappointing show that started out quite promising. It would’ve been a lot better if it was just a a miniseries.

This will be released on BD in the US:

Interestingly enough the production company (Fifth Season) also produces Severance.
