Don’t do it, Feige! Star Wars fans may act like they want you, but then as soon as the film is released they will turn on you for including humor and diverse casting choices, grab their pitchforks, and start calling you “Kevin FAIL-ee” or something. Then YouTube journalists will spin a narrative that Marvel and the MCU are in serious jeapordy and that Bob Iger is sure to fire you any minute now and replace you with Taika Waititi.

Then those willing to give a Cap movie a chance were surprised at how much they liked The Winter Soldier and became fans of Steve Rogers, whereas before he was considered the most boring Avenger.

Then Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 surprised people in that it took some unknown old Marvel characters and made it a hit.

2014 was a game changing year for the MCU.

Then Age of Ultron came out and general response was: Eh...

-It was enjoyable but the wow factor of a hero team up was gone after Avengers 1

-the comedy was WAY overdone. Avengers 1 was praised so much for the jokes, that Whedon went way overboard for Age of Ulton.

Then phase 3 happened and the hating on the MCU thing stopped for the most part.


Imagine if Kevin Feige was only in charge of 1 movie per year...not 2 or 3.

Bob Iger and Alan Horn would be able to up the budget on each film. And he'd be able to hire the best talent - like Roger Deacons for cinematography.


Black Panther's CGI was awful because Marvel had to spread its resources between 3 movies in the span of just 5 or 6 months.

Nothing to save. There is one more film left to go in the Skywalker saga and it’s already been filmed I’m pretty sure. Once TROS is shown and done....that’s the end of the Skywalker saga. For me and I suspect many others that had some issues with the sequels, there is nothing to be concerned with going forward.

The new characters are front and center now. Disney can go off the proverbial deep end as far as stupid writing or whatever is concerned. It won’t matter.

So, maybe this Feige guy can come up with something interesting? We’ll see I guess. One thing is for sure though, the MCU isn’t anything at all like Star Wars so he can’t approach it like that.

Or, maybe he should take the information available that clearly shows that ill-timed stupid humor that isn’t funny doesn’t appeal to most of the audience. And, casting choices should always be made using talent and other logical criteria as the basis for choices and not anything else. Just clearing that up.
