Season 3 was just awful. I hope Season 4 can right the ship and the show goes out on a high note.

What significance is the number 7 in V for Vendetta? I'm pretty sure he just mixed up the numbers seven, and eleven.

This would just be on Netflix anyway, so what’s the point? Just extend the last season by two episodes.

I'll definitely give it a shot.
There are so many shows I'd recommend before Stranger Things, though. It's a seven outta ten for me.

To be fair, there are some form of narrative benefits to doing a big two hour plus conclusion story, as opposed to plonking on another two episodes to the end of the series. Like thematically they may have two separate strands they want to cover that are suited to two different storylines, like season 4 might be how strong their friendships remain despite being separated and whatever after that is about them learning to let go of one another to grow up. To just plonk that at the end of a season will feel a tad jarring and inconclusive.

Plus you’ve got the whole idea that doing episodes you got to stick to the 45+ minute structure and contrive a cliffhanger to keep people bingeing. And maybe they do just need to separate the story up, like Breaking Bad’s conclusion is great, but those final two episodes do feel like a completely different show to the payoff prior, like a slow burn, change of gears epilogue. Maybe a split is necessary to bring the show to a close, it all really depends on what they’re trying to achieve.
