I'm guessing if true it'll be a July4th release (or Summer at least)......can't wait that long, would rather have not known until a few weeks before it's hit the shelf.

i have been future proofing my purchases for the last 3 years buying 4k combos when available...i guess the time to upgrade on a tv and player has finally come with this and bttf

Same here.

I like my current setup so much that i'm just waiting until my television or player dies before making the jump. I'll have over 200 4K UHD discs already in my collection waiting for me to watch when I do upgrade my equipment.

Just read on a shared FB page that Universal IS releasing Jaws on 4K disc in 2020!

I was hoping this would happen being the 45th anniversary and that Back To The Future is getting a 35th release.

If the sequels ever make it to 4K, I don’t think Mr. Spielberg will want his (classic) film associated with them. The sequels will be separate releases.
