Cheetara, I mean Cheetah, looks outmatched by Wonderwoman. Cheetah played by Kristen Wiig. Interesting choice. I hope she can pull it off, as she's normally focused on comedy.

Doubt she has to do much. From what I've seen so far, Cheetah appears to be mostly CGI.

This will be a somewhat defining 3D movie when it comes to the "new normal" during and maybe even after the Pandemic. According to this site, http://cms.pro.boxoffice.com/statist...lease-calendar , Wonder Woman 1984 is still scheduled for a 3D release. I'm definitely anxious to see how the theaters treat 3D showings compared to the past.

Yeah I would hope they no longer reuse 3D glasses because as much as I love the 3D experience in the cinema I don't want to be using 3D glasses that were used by other people with whats going on..

But I don't see theaters wanting to spend the extra cash on so many 3D glasses.

Are they actually reused or just recycled? Every pair I've ever been handed has been shrinkwrapped. Well I can always bring my own to the theater.

If they implement the 15-min testing for all attendees, there should be no issues.

The CGI for her leaping about as Cheetah, I'm not sold on since it doesn't look like her anymore, but a CGI character.

Good point. It'll be interesting to see which theaters support 3D. I hope the major chains all support 3D even during these slower times for theaters.

Warner Bros. has pushed back WW 1984 to December 25.

Director Patty Jenkins, “First and foremost let me say how much Gal and I love all our devoted Wonder Woman fans around the world, and your excitement for ‘WW84’ couldn’t make us happier or more eager for you to see the movie. Because I know how important it is to bring this movie to you on a big screen when all of us can share the experience together, I’m hopeful you won’t mind waiting just a little bit longer. With the new date on Christmas Day, we can’t wait to spend the holidays with you!”

Thanks.

That really stinks. 2020 is the worst year for theatrical movies in the history of my life as a major fan of going to the movies. This stinks. December 25th is practically 2021. Oh well. The PS5 is on the way in November, and I just got 6 new PSVR stereo 3D games for PSVR PS4 to go through. But yeah, this stinks that all the studios bailed out understandably too.

Probably will still get BR release tho. Whether or not it has 3d who knows? After Mulan I have low expectations. Also it talks about shortened theatrical window not bypassing it entirely.

Most studios are choosing to either delay the film or send to streaming only. I don't see why it can't be in theaters and streaming at the same time.

Was at Target today, Mulan doesn't seem to be selling any copies! They had so many of them. Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to be a $1billon movie. I am thinking they will still delay it, but who knows, they may try to use it to drive subscriptions for HBOMax. I have heard they are not doing too well with the number of subscribers.

I think the big movies that are done are pretty much screwed. Covid isn't going away no matter how much you shut down so I don't see theaters making any big come back next year, at this point I think movies like Wonder Woman and Black Widow will eventually be sacrificed and released for a limited time in theaters and or streaming which unfortunately means they won't make near what they should have but it is what it is.

Mulan was badly advertised for home release, i guarantee a lot of people don't even know its out on disc yet.

I didn't until I saw it a couple of days ago but it doesn't matter. No 3D, no sale. I'll catch it streaming, and at the risk of straying off topic, my local Best Buy cleared their racks and only have new releases now on a single rack display about 6' wide and that's it. Only Bob can save 3D now. Physical is almost dead.
