On episode 3, rolled my eyes heavy and turned off the episode.

[Show spoiler]I don't mind the whole mention of them wearing masks, them explicitly mentioning COVID in the first episode, but in the 3rd episode when the baby gets measels because Joe is unvaxxed, and Love goes on an outburst like "some brain dead anti vaxxer can kill someone for being selfish" I sighed heavy and got reminded why I love Korean shows more: the writing. American shows lately feel a need to shoe horn in topics for political correctness or whatever and it's like don't we watch a shoe about an obsessive psycho to just be entertained and not be reminded of real world? I mean yeah I got my 2 doses of Moderna months ago, but I still don't want to hear anything about it one way or the other in a fictional show about two killers leading a double life in the suburbs.

So yeah, can we get another good Korean show instead, Netflix?

An average season and the silliness has reached new heights. Hope that now

Liked S1 but thought S2 was boring as hell, the characters were beyond annoying. In the first book and S1 Joe is a psychopath who tortures and kills whoever might spoil his vision of a perfect relationship, by S2 is like he's turned into Dexter and only kills "bad people" because he wants to be "good" for his new love interest. Haven't read the second book, but didn't like how they evolved the character.
Anyway, should I watch 3?

Actually, yeah. Because it’s funny that you mentioned Dexter as I started hearing that as well after season 2. For the record I’ve never seen Dexter

Dexter is pretty much a psychopath trained to only kill bad people (murderers, pedophiles, etc). That's how he deals with his urge to kill, getting rid of the scum. At least that's what he did during the majority of S1, haven't seen the rest of the show.
By S2 I felt Joe sort of followed the same pattern.

[Show spoiler] He wants to be a good person and stop the killings because of Love, he thinks she's the real deal. He only does it when there's no other choice or when he realizes the person is scum and deserves to die. The "good psychopath that only kills bad people" is just too easy, there's nothing interesting about the character anymore.

Finished season 3 last night, loved it. Hope Penn and Victoria get Emmy noms, they were great
