The sting (1973) really needs to be on blu ray. I have this on HD DVD but my HD DVD is down the river (My 360 is red ringed). Also Forbidden Planet and The Deer Hunter would be nice.

I couldn't wait for that so I just bought the HD-DVD version. I decided that I am ok with owning HD-DVD's in place of Blu Rays for the time being because there are too many movies taking their sweat time and HD-DVD's can be had for like 2-3 bucks on ebay.

In the case of Mallrats, that and Transformers are the only HD-DVD's I own that I eventually will upgrade to Blu, everything else is just fine on HD-DVD.

The War! It's a low budget family drama starring Elijah Wood, Kevin Costner and Mare Winningham. It's a really, really good movie. They released it on HD DVD a few years back, so hopefully it will get a Blu-ray release sooner or later, though I'd love it to be sooner.
