I like the original a lot too but I thought the new one was really uninspired. The music, story, and visual design were all a step down. That said, it should be an HDR showcase. But that's about it, for me. I was really looking forward to it but I felt let down. Not a movie I'd want to watch again but my wife and son liked it, so...

Felt the same, the songs just didn't give you the same feeling as before... and the story was sort of generic, and got a little too deep with the cultural appropriation and everybody should be what they want stuff. And you'd think now that the Bergens are their friends, they would've tried to get them to help

but I guess not. My 6 year old cousin was obsessed with the first, and still watches it often, but I couldn't even get him to watch this in one sitting.

Now unfortunately I just noticed that my preorder shows a estimated delivery date of 7/20. Odd that it isn't released and they're already expecting to take an extra 2 weeks to get it to me? Unless that's just an error.

Because the stream is not the disc. This isn’t the right forum for making definitive statements about a UHD based on something you saw on Vudu.
