There should be a Blu-ray of The Brave Little Toaster. It passed the first test of time when children I was talking to at a synagogue oneg mentioned it without being prompted. The DVD upconverts nicely enough on my 4k setup but last time I checked there wasn't even streaming available for it, just the sequels.

Too bad they can't just bite the bullet and let Shout! Factory have it. I'm sure they'd want to do extras about how Disney passed on it only to essentially take it over after the fact.

Isn't next year the Brave Little Toaster's 35th anniversary? That would be nice if it did get released on blu-ray next year.

I totally forgot Bebe's Kids (1992). This is the totally so funny animated movie and definitely need release Blu-ray... come on and what are you waiting for, Paramount!

Adding a new one to the want list, of a more recent kind: KOATI, coming to select U.S. movie theaters on October 15! Animation looks great to me for the big screen and therefore pretty suitable for some high-definition physical media, here's hoping the rest of the movie holds up well.

I remember Bebe's Kids, though I am not a fan of movies with bratty kids especially after spending so many years working in retail.

Updated my wish list for ones that we actually got on blu ray.

Would like a re-release of Ballerina/Leap with both English dubs, French and Spanish languages with English subs.

dANG son, barely any progress on my side in the 2 years and 1 month since the creation of this thread... Well great, we did end up getting Wolfwalkers on Blu-ray after all, and that's a great relief on its own, but the rest has remained mostly stagnant, and I sometimes feel it has even regressed instead.

My overall up-to-date wishlist (Includes things I have not watched yet, but does not include Anime or items with a confirmed upcoming Region A-compatible and English-friendly Blu-ray or UHD Blu-ray release):

- The Perennial Three, as usual: Titan A.E., The Brave Little Toaster & Cats Don't Dance
- Klaus
- Koati
- Rémi Chayé's Calamity (received a digital-only release in the U.S. even with no English dub whatsoever earlier this year, and it makes my blood boil just thinking about it )
- Josep (recieved a DVD-only release in the U.S. earlier this year)
- White Snake II: The Tribulation of the Green Snake (Stolen by the N late last year, who mislabels it as simply Green Snake on its platform. Pretty awful movie anyway, especially in comparison to the first one, but still...)
- Unicorn Wars (Upcoming)
- Mars Express (Upcoming)
- Girl and Wolf (Upcoming, different from Wolfwalkers)
- Perlimps (Upcoming)
- Ernest and Célestine 2, I repeat: Ernest and Célestine 2 is coming, and it's subtitled A Trip to Gibberitia (Upcoming)

Would like to see Klaus but have no interest in Netflix, maybe we will be lucky this Christmas and it will get a physical release.

Yeah, heard about Cat's Don't Dance blu ray release. I am hoping for a lot of things at least if it is from Warner Brothers there is a chance it might get a blu ray release.

Welcome to the forums!

So, my updated wishlist, covering English-friendly Region A releases, would be...
  • Titan A.E.
  • The Brave Little Toaster
  • Klaus
  • Koati
  • Perlimps
  • Mars Express
  • Girl and Wolf (Still in production)

Changes from my last revision:

- Cats Don't Dance, Unicorn Wars and Calamity (Japanese Blu-ray includes English subtitles) are clear. Ernest and Célestine: A Trip to Gibberitia is on the way.
- Gave up on Josep (DVD only in the U.S.) and White Snake II (Netflix only).
- Recently bought The Brave Little Toaster on DVD, but will remain on the list.
- Priority #1 from this list at the moment would be Mars Express (release to be determined, movie still has to premiere in home country (France) and licensed in the U.S.)

Not really animated but figured it was worth a mention: The Great Santa Clause Switch by Jim Henson and the Muppets, and Art Carney. Anybody remember that?

Hugo the Hippo
Quest for Camelot
Titan A.E.
The Small One
Annabelle’s Wish
Felidae
The Fearless Four
Hugo the Movie Star
Adventures of the American Rabbit I remember watching this film on tv when I was a kid and really liking it hoping it gets a Blu Ray soon as it shouldn’t just stay on DVD.

Anime film wise
Tree of Palme
Kakurenbo Hide and Seek
Cat Soup
Neo Tokyo

American Pop isn’t on the list as it got a Blu Ray in August that I bought and have owned for months now. These are the ones I still need Hugo the Movie Star is a very very hard film franchise to buy on DVD so I hope someone like Deaf Crocodile releases it on Blu Ray which is something they really need to do. Also Rover Dangerfield is a film I saw when I was a kid at my cousins house and watched it on VHS and I didn’t like it. And even trying to watch it recently I still don’t like it but I guess that’s just me. That being said Rover Dangerfield is getting released on Blu Ray at the end of this month.
