I'm hoping they'll show Trolls: World Tour but I guess that depends on whether or not the physical edition drops first. Since I have Regal Unlimited I don't want to pay $20 to watch it online. Otherwise, Tenet.

I'm watching everything I can. It's been brutal not being able to go to the theater and watch new releases. Cant wait for them to finally open again.

A Quiet Place: Part II and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It in September. Assuming they’re not going to be delayed.

I hope that they slow open and start with a couple classic revivals at the Dolby Cinema...would love it if maybe the 4k of Lawrence of Arabia would make it there. I know its a pipe dream, but sometimes dreams do come true!

I wonder if theatres do reopen in July, are we perhaps gonna see some studios fill the screen by dropping a couple stinkers that they would save for the usual August dead zone or January season. It would make the first dumping ground July.

Default Did anyone with a state with an open theatre go to the theatre

As I believe some but very few theatres actually opened this week in the state that opened places to public. My question is this did anyone with a state with an open theatre go to the theatre yet? Like for example is anyone in San Antonio Texas going to go to the Evo entertainment theatres that are opening!

I live in San Antonio near the Santikos Palladium which is open now. I might go there in another couple of months depending on how things are going and if they're showing something I want to see.

Interesting, I assumed all of the Santikos Palladiums were bought out by Regal. The two that we had here which were fairly new turned into Regals.

In fact there aren’t any original Regal theaters in my area. They’re all acquired theaters/mergers that were converted into Regals.

I didn't know about that. You're in Houston, I assume. I just found this article about that.
