alright now im completely confused. I own 2 games that can output 1080p. COD4 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Everything else I own game wise is 720p.

Whenever i play the 720 games, it shows that they are outputting 720p. whenever I play Ninja or COD4 it says 1080p.. and now your telling me there is no such thing as a true 1080p game? even on the xbox?

very few games are native 1080p. homecourt, vt3, lair, potc3, gt5p, and rr 7 are the only ones. ngs uses line doubling

these games claiming to be 1080p r using tricks to be able to put it on the box. its basically the same thing if u went to a store and saw a bd and upconverting player. both say 1080p only one is native. the game devs dont have to acknowledge that its not native. its very confusing

wow..that kinda sucks.. haha I had no idea. weird.. COD4 has such amazing graphics I just assumed I was getting true 1080p. Thanks for the schooling guys

cod4 has amazing animation and anti aliasing thats what makes the graphics great. not its detail which is pretty low res. graphics dont equal resolution. kz2 is only 720 and it has amazing grafix
